School of Nursing Students Present at National Conference
Under the direction of Trinity Health System School of Nursing faculty members Pat Anderson and Melissa Coe, senior nursing students created and presented a poster at the National Coalition of Hospital Based Colleges and Schools of Nursing (NCHBCS) conference in Philadelphia, PA on March 14, 2003. The poster, depicting the utilization of concept mapping in caring for children with Cystic Fibrosis, was awarded 1st place recognition in competition of Posters submitted by student nurses from NCHBCS member nursing education programs.
The following students were recipients of the 1st place cash award: H. Adkins, B. Davis, S. Ice, J. Meeks, L. Stewart, M. Crowe, M. Hughes, J. Javins, S. Kile and H. Wallace.
Faculty was awarded $1,000 in free achievement testing from Educational Resources Testing Company.
